George Hadeed, MD

Dr. George Hadeed is a board-certified psychiatrist based in Tucson, Arizona, with expertise in treating adults with mood disorders and substance use disorders. As a dedicated clinician, educator, and advocate for mental health, Dr. Hadeed has built a reputation for providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

A co-founder of Arizona Psychiatry, PLLC, Dr. Hadeed plays a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of outpatient psychiatric care in Southern Arizona. He is highly specialized in the treatment of Substance Use Disorders, particularly in the use of buprenorphine (Suboxone) and naltrexone (Vivitrol) for opioid and alcohol dependence. His dual training in Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine allows him to offer comprehensive, integrative treatment for individuals struggling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Dr. Hadeed is also committed to medical education and mentorship. As an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, he actively contributes to the training of future psychiatrists, helping to shape the next generation of mental health professionals.

A proud Arizona Wildcat, Dr. Hadeed earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, where he also completed his Adult Psychiatry Residency at the University of Arizona Department of Psychiatry. During his training, he distinguished himself as a Chief Resident in his final year (PGY-4) and was recognized for his leadership, advocacy, and commitment to clinical excellence with the Arizona Psychiatric Society Resident Recognition Award in 2018.

Dr. Hadeed is board-certified in both Adult Psychiatry (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology) and Addiction Medicine (American Board of Preventive Medicine) and holds an active medical license in Arizona. He continues to be deeply involved in the Tucson medical community, striving to expand access to high-quality psychiatric care to his patients.
